I have been a very bad blogger lately!!! Let me just say that my life has been so crazy, Im surprised that I still have my hair! Let me start off by saying, "Dont let you kids play with bullets!" I know that sounds really stupid and "Duh" Sheila... But really, when you think that you have been a good mom and have taught your kids about things, it backfires... "Literally" A couple of weeks ago Kayden climbed into my brother-in-laws Suzuki Samurai and founds some bullets in there. I was in the house with the door open so I can watch them, the next thing I hear is BOOM! My husband rushes outside to see our 3 year old sittin in the passenger side seat bleeding!!!!!!!! AHHHH! Panic.... We checked his body and luckily it was only his left thumb. It turns out he was shoving 22. bullets into the cigarette lighter and one shot off at the cap came back and point blank range and shot him in the thumb. We ended up taking him to the hospital and they did x-rays and stuff.... luckily nothing was inside and nothing was broken. He got three stitches and is doing grreat! Scary though.
I think that Samurai is possessed... cause the other day I was coming home from school lunch in richmond (pushing the stroller) and as I rounded the corner by my house I saw that same vehicle sitting in the middle of the road. It had come out of gear and rolled out of my driveway into the street. It only had to go a tiny bit more and it would have went down the hill into my neighbors house. Seriously... that's all I need.
And if my luck wasn't bad enough... a few days later my husband got sick and we thought he had appendicitis... took him to the hospital and it was only the stomach flu, swollen lymph nodes in the back and dehydration... So with the CAT scan and everything they did at the hospital we get a HUGE honkin bill for the stomach flu....
Don't you love how life treats us some times. I know I have something to learn from this!

So sad...I am glad that he is doing goood. This will be a story that will be passed on to generations! I hope all is going good. I will talk to you in the morning. Muhahahaha!

I had no idea all the things going on in your life! Are you all okay?! Kinda a funny gun story, especially since nothing HORRIBLE happened. He's so lucky! WOW! I cannot believe that! I seriously am picking my jaw up off the floor! Poor kid!
Your poor hubby. But mostly, POOR YOU! In all this! You poor thing. Being a mom is so hard. A mom and a wife. You're expected to be this superhero that survives all things and keeps going despite everything. I hope you're okay!

Whoa!! I can't imagine. I am so glad everything is okay. How scary. I had no idea all this was going on. I am calling you right now.
WOW! What a week! And I thought I was stressed! You may take the cake on this one! I am so glad that he is okay! Who would ever think to shove bullets in the cigarette lighter...I would have never thought of that even being a danger! I guess we know what goes through little boys heads! I am glad that all is well, except for the hospital bills...those suck!
