Cisco Fishing At Bear Lake

Our little family went to Bear Lake a few days ago and went cisco fishing. The ice was frozen and we fished right off the bank. Cisco fishing only happens once a year. You make a hole in the ice and watch for them to swim by. A big group come around and you can dip your net into the water and pull out a bunch of fish. Kayden had a blast. It was his first real experience catching fish. I liked to pick them up and put them in the cooler. They remind me of oversized sardines.

yes we did catch our limit of 30 cisco. It was a blast. We were only there for 30 minutes so it wasn't too cold
